Hailing from the Caribbean, Rhian Vialva freelanced in the film industry for 10 years, working on documentary and fiction films. She also coordinated the Caribbean Film Mart (co-financed by the ACP Cultures + Program) at the trinidad+tobago film festival, which is the most recognised film festival of that region. 

She migrated to Belgium in 2016, and in 2017 she became an International Development Officer at Neon Rouge Production. She has worked on: The Mercy of the Jungle (2018), Lendemains Incertains (2018), Tantas Almas (2019), En Route pour le Milliard (2020). She is the coproducer of Cinema Sabaya (2021).

She pursued courses in the MA programme, Cinema with a Specialisation in Production at INSAS (National Superior Institute of Performing Arts & Broadcasting Techniques), Brussels, Belgium. She holds a BA with 1st class Hons. in Media & Communications from the University of Greenwich, UK.
